Phillip Lazarre, CEO of Igenico group did a Q&A session regarding the future market for payment terminals and mobile payment systems with the Business Insider online publication.
Although mobile systems are on the increase, he believes they are still a small segment of the global market and that SMEs are still best suited to physical payment terminals.
However, the mobile market is expanding fast and as supporting hardware prices continue to drop it looks likely that mobile will be becoming more attractive for the smaller business.
